2022 Honda S660 Roadster Final Version

Honda says goodbye to small S660 roadster amid worst year for a model

The Honda S660 Roadster of the Japanese compact is discontinued, and at parting it has acquired a special version. The new version is made on the basis of a sports two door, it differs from the original in decor.

The new version is based on the sporty S660 Modulo X roadster, which joined the standard model in 2018. The full name of the final version is Honda S660 Modulo X Version Z. This two-door has black emblems and nameplates, wheels and a spoiler are made in the same color. The body can be painted in the new Sonic Gray Pearl color or white. In the cabin there is a carbon like finish, the door panels are upholstered in suede and there is also a plate with the name of the special series. The multimedia system, as before, is available only for a surcharge. But Version Z owners will also get an exclusive bag with the Modulo X logo, which can be hung on a hook between the chairs.

Compared to the regular S660, the Modulo X and Version Z respectively, features a body kit, a two tone interior and a re tuned suspension. The engine is the same, the roadster is equipped with a petrol 660cc, turbo-triple engine with a capacity of 64 horsepower. This is the maximum allowed recoil for kei cars, to which the Honda S660 belongs. The farewell version is only available with a six-speed manual transmission, while for the simple Modulo X and the standard model, you can still choose a variator.

No heir has been reported for Japan. It is possible that Honda still will not invest in the development of a successor because it would take a lot of funds, the requirements for safety and environmental friendliness are constantly being tightened.
