Kia reveals new design philosophy and full images of EV6. The new design Kia EV6, the marque first battery electric vehicle, the new design identity is previewed in official images prior to the EV's global debut. The adoption of Tiger Nose Grill as a new generation design language has become a big topic as its design imitates BMW front Grill. In South Korea, BMW is making noise that it has slammed Kia Tiger Nose Grill. In the EV6, the updated design philosophy is evident through the new face, with sharp lines complementing the sequential dynamic light patterns as seen on the teasers released before. The E 6 looks like a crossover, although it sits relatively low to the ground. The swoopy C-pilar gives the EV a coupe like silhouette. The rear end is probably the most interesting part of the EV6, with the LED light cluster that extends from left to right rear fenders. Kia EV6 Kia Corporation has revealed the images of the EV6, it is first dedicated battery electric vehicle built on the company new EV platform. EV6 is also the first of Kia next generation BEV's to be developed under a new design philosophy that embodies Kia shifting focus towards electrification. The future car will have fairly smooth body lines, unusual head optics and taillights with LED and dynamic direction indicators. Kia new electric hatchback is expected to receive a second level Highway Driving Assist autopilot. Kia EV6 will borrow from the twin brother Hyundai Ioniq 5. It has a traction battery built into the floor of the body. The battery capacity is either 58 or 72.6 kilowatt hour. Both options can be combined with both rear and all- wheel drive. At the same time, the power of a single electric motor when using a less capacious battery with 170 horsepower and 350Nm of torque.
