The 2023 Subaru Solterra (JDM) As Edgy EV With Full-Time AWD The Subaru revealed a rebadged version of the bZ4X called the Subaru Solterra. A full-fat EV wrapped in a five passenger SUV body that certainly stands out in the crowd. The Solterra puts power to the ground through a pair of electric motors, one for each axle. Each motor generates 107 horsepower for a combined output of 215 horsepower and with Subaru penchant for all-wheel-drive vehicles, that is the only configuration available on the Solterra. For the interior, you will find more familiarity with the bz4x, right down to the same center touchscreen and digital dash layout. The Solterra electricity comes from a 71.4 Kilowatt-Hour lithium-ion battery pack giving the SUV a range of approximately 460 kilometers as per Japan WLTC standard. 2023 Subaru Solterra Electric Crossover Teased In Revealing Images. Toyota was the first to open its electrocross, but it is still in the status of a pre-production concept, the SUV under the bZ4X index made its debut last April. A couple of teasers of this SUV were distributed by Subaru and at the same time the company announced the trade name of the model "Solterra". The Subaru Solterra will be the brands first EV. The electric crossover makes an appearance in some very revealing teaser images. One of them offers an unobstructed view of the vehicles profile after playing with the picture in Photoshop. The Solterra was sharing parts with the Toyota BZ4X electric crossover, these shots revealed the distinct design similarities. The two vehicles are almost identical. The only obvious change is that the front fender flares have a matte finish, rather than glossy on the BZ4X. The Subie roof is the same color as the rest of the body, rather than being black. ...
