Jing SUV from SAIC Roewe premiers at Auto Shanghai. SAIC Roewe new SUV named Jing, made its debut at Auto Shanghai 2021. The "Jing" stands for whale, the font grille vaguely resembling a whale mouth. The car follows the design philosophy known as emotional rhythm. As the first product of the new series of Roewe, the Jing will assume the responsibility of accelerating the process of brand rejuvenation, personalization and promoting brand upgrading. It boasts narrow LED lights with chunky corner lenses upfront. And its swoopy overall design matches up with common crossover trends. This is actually a near production concept, showcasing what is to come but the whale connection is certainly no accident. The vertical bars of the grille most decidedly resemble a whales underside and in case you are wondering about the traditional Chinese characters on the license plate, it is a stylized version of Jing.
