The Kiger is officially labeled by Renault as a compact model. The production model debuted, retaining the name of its forerunner. The smart looking crossover is only 157.1 inches long, thus fighting in India hugely competitive market of sub four meter vehicles. The Renault Kiger is based on the CMF-A platform, on which the Nissan Magnite cross, Renault Triber compact van, Renault Kwid and Datsun redi-GO hatches are also built. During the presentation of the Renault prototype, it was announced that the product cross would largely repeat it.
