The 2022 Subaru Impreza Revealed With New Electric Car.
The 2022 Subaru Impreza has been revealed in the Japanese home market, but you have to be a very big Impreza Slappy to see the changes. A revised lower fascia front is the most obvious change because there is now one large opening instead of three smaller ones. Two chrome strips surround the front fog lights and the lattice is narrower than its predecessor. Subaru apparently also added two new wheel designs as part of the Impreza JDM refresh.
The Impreza range consists of four trim levels, Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited, although the Limited trim is now exclusively offered as a five door model.
Subaru is developing a new 2.4 liter twin Turbo Boxer engine that can be used coupled to an electric motor. This hybrid power is likely to be used for climbing power and possibly a new generation of Subaru WRX STI. This is all possible with the introduction of the new Subaru global platform seen on the new model Impreza and Crosstrek.
Subaru said that there is no price change for the 2022 Impreza.
