Subaru WRX and WRX STi
The 2022 Subaru WRX comes out with full specifications, STi models retain 6-speed manual transmission and the horsepower is almost 400PS.
The full specifications of 2022 Subaru WRX were released by the Japanese media. According to Japanese media, the new generation of Subaru WRX will be equipped with FA24 turbo engine, horsepower up to 400PS, while the 6-speed manual transmission is retained and this time the original factory has added an electronic control suspension to the WRX.
The appearance and interior design, the Japanese media has received news that it will follow the new Levorg, but because it is the flagship model of Subaru, the appearance design will be more Sporty and the body will be lower creating a harder visual effect. The interior is expected to be the same as Levorg with a large size in line mainframe, full LCD instrumentation, a newly designed steering wheel, leather electric seats, and more technological equipment to emphasize its high end performance identity.
In terms of equipment, Subaru has also upgraded a lot of equipment for the new generation of WRX this time, including the introduction of Eyesight X latest advanced active safety equipment, an upgraded brake system and in the suspension part, it is reported that Subaru has introduced a new version for the 2022 WRX. The engine configuration, the 2022 WRX will be equipped with a 2.4-liter Boxer Turbo engine (FA24). This engine has two outputs on the WRX car series, 290PS and 410Nm for WRX, and 400PS and 490Nm for WRX STi. Of course, only Subaru Lineatronic High Torque CVT is available for WRX models.
