Lexus IS 500
The 2022 Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance arrives to bring a V8 engine back to the model lineup. The new Lexus IS 500 is equipped with a classic 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine, with 472 horsepower and 535Nm of torque. The new sedan also launches the brands F Sport Performance line of more hardcore vehicles but not quite as mean as the full fat F vehicles.
The IS 500 F Sport Performance naturally aspirated 5-0-liter V8 mill it produces 472 horsepower and 535 Newton-meters of torque sent to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic. It comes with a Dynamic Handling Package that includes adaptive suspension and Torsen limited slip differential, with a 1,765 kilograms weight at the scales.
As for the interior, it basically retains all the designs of the 2021 Lexus IS with leather electric memory seats, F Sport multi function steering wheel, full LCD instrumentation, large size entertainment and well designed center console. There is not much difference in the normal version of IS.
It is worth mentioning that the original factory has also redesigned and adjusted the chassis, suspension and body height to make the IS 500 handling performance even better, while emphasizing the driving pleasure. the 2022 IS 500 is also equipped with Lexus Safety Sense+ 2.5 advanced active safety equipment, that includes pedestrian detection, emergency steering assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams and more, which can be said to run fast and have good safety, which greatly improves driving safety.
The 2022 Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance goes on sale this fall. The company will announce pricing, options, and color choices closer to launch.
