2022 All New Toyota Avanza and Veloz



The new compact MPV Toyota Avanza has moved to a new platform, has grown up, has become richer and safer. The engines have been upgraded - recoil has been slightly increased.





The new Toyota Avanza is built on the Daihatsu DNGA platform (a variation of Toyota TNGA), with McPherson struts in the front and a semi independent suspension in the back. The Toyota Avanza is seven seater by standard.

For the interior, both parties have also maintained the appearance setting, that is, the regular version model adopts a simple appearance and basic mechanical equipment, the traditional hand brake is still used. The standard equipment includes diode optics, a pair of airbags, stabilization and lifting assistance systems, a multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen, and air conditioning.

The new Avanza is still offered with two engines options, four cylinder petrol engines, while both are slightly more powerful, the 1.3-liter engine now produces 98 horsepower and 122Nm of torque, and the 1.5-liter engine is 106 horsepower and 137Nm of torque. The matching gearbox is a manual and a new DCVT Transmission.

For the new Veloz, The vans were different in appearance before, but not significantly. Now the luxury version is considered a separate model, and it has its own design, this version has received a different grille, headlights and bumpers, and the taillights are connected with a red stripe.

The touch screen host 7-inch and 9-inch, climate control, all round cameras, wireless charging for a smartphone, and a screen for rear passengers mounted on the ceiling, electronic parking brake, and a complex Toyota Safety Sense, automatic braking systems, blind spot monitoring, lane deviation warning, lane deviation assist, and automatic adjustment of high and low beams.

The new Toyota Avanza and Veloz will reach other countries of Southeast Asia, they will also appear in Latin America and Africa.
