The 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross has been officially unveiled in Japan, while a new GR Sport model has been revealed for Taiwan.
The Toyota Corolla Cross SUV which debuted just a year ago, began to grow with special versions last week, sales of a model with a kit from the court studio Modellista started in Thailand and the GR Sport version was presented in Taiwan.
The Thai Corolla Cross Modellista differs from the original model only in the body kit, then the Taiwanese sports cross has more modifications. The GR Sport version, along with the new front bumper, still got a different radiator grille with outgrowths that props up the headlights, the foglights are now located higher, silver embossed linings have appeared on the stern and on the sides, plus the crossover sports darkened lights. the roof and A-pillars of the special SUV are finished in black. The SUV stands on 18-inch disks, while the base car in Taiwan has 17-inch wheels.
The interior, the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport is decorated in the same black color, on the seats and the engine start button there are emblems of the sport version. Also on the list of standard equipment are, seven airbags, a multimedia system, a rear view camera, climate control, adaptive cruise control, auto braking systems, tracking lane markings, and automatic switching of headlights.
For the power configurations, the Corolla Cross GR Sport can be had with a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter gasoline engine producing a mighty 138 horsepower and 172 Newton-meters of torque delivered to the front axle through a continuously variable transmission.
