The Ford Ranger Raptor is a range of mid-size pickup trucks. The mid-size pickup is indeed getting a larger 3.0-liter V6 EcoBoost.

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor gets a permanent four-wheel drive system with an on demand electronically controlled two-speed transfer case. The twin-turbo mill has been detuned to almost 400 horsepower and 583Nm, the output is channeled to the road via a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Those muscular fenders host 17-inch wheels wrapped in all terrain tires and the back features a sporty exhaust with adjustable flaps to modify the soundtrack on the fly. There are locking differentials at the front and rear along with seven selectable driving modes Normal, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Sand, Mud and Baja.

The interior is home to sports seats. Ford says have been designed with inspiration from jet fighters while Code Orange accents spruce up the cabin. Magnesium shift paddles are exclusive to the Raptor, which also gets a 10-speaker B&O sound system. The driver has a 12-4 inch digital instrument cluster accompanied by a 12-inch vertical touchscreen with SYNC 4 and wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
