The limited-edition cars sit on exclusive gloss-black 20-inch wheels and have gloss-black and chrome accents and black brake calipers.

The F-Type Heritage 60 is an understated tribute to the classic E-Type. Its powertrain, however, is the opposite of understated – each example features the F-Type R’s supercharged 5.0-liter V8. This raucous powerplant, good for 575 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, hurls the two-seater to 60 in a brisk 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 186 miles per hour. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive system, it’s fair to say that performance is one area the F-Type will eclipse the E.

Jaguar has not announced pricing for this rare take on the F-Type. Considering the limited production run and the hand built nature.

As for Choi, his internship with Nissan Design America wrapped up earlier this year. The company was so impressed with his GT-R (X) concept, and the story behind it, though, that he now works full time at the studio. So expect more amazing designs from him in the future.

This concept is not hitting the Nissan production line anytime soon.

According to the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, a car in Japan travels a yearly average of over only 9,300 kilometers (5,800 miles), less than half the U.S. average of 19,200 kilometers (12,000 miles).

Japanese domestic market vehicles may differ greatly from the cars that Japanese manufacturers build for export and vehicles derived from the same platforms built in other countries. The horsepower limit was lifted in 2004 but the speed limit of 180 km/h (111.8 mph) remains in effect. Many JDM cars have speedometers that register up to 180 km/h (111.8 mph) (certain Nissans go up to 190 km/h, and the GT-R has a mechanism that removes the speed limiter on a track) but all have speed limiters.
